Megaphon has hosted plenty of Jazz recording sessions over the years. You can easily isolate instruments into separate rooms or, alternatively, record the Drums, Double Bass and Piano all in the Main Room. The judicious use of baffles will provide the separation needed and having everyone in the same room with the lights suitably dimmed makes it easy to recreate that smoky jazz-bar mood. (Note; actual smoking not permitted when recreating smoky jazz-bar mood.)
Speaking of Pianos – we have one! Feel free to use our Yamaha C5 Baby Grand set up in the Main Room. Classical? Jazz? Opera? We’re set-up and ready to go for any style of Piano Recording. In fact, Megaphon Studios is for much more than full band recordings.
