- Ungus Ungus Ungus are in for five days of mixing last months recordings (Engineer: Shane Fahey)

- John Huey is recording two new classical works (Engineer: Chris Hancock)
- Scattered Order are finishing mixing works for Austrian label Klanggalerie (Enginner: Shane Fahey)
- Jozz Scott, Mike Berkley, Westernsynthetics and Pineapple express are in for mastering (Engineer: Chris Hancock)

November @ Megaphon

A super busy month as everyone tries to finish off their records before the end of the year:
- Departing members of Wolfmother, Bassist Chris Ross and drummer Myles Heskett are working on their super new project Dune Buggy (Engineer: Jon Boy Rock)
- Paul Mac is in grabbing drum and synth takes with the help of Chris Ross, Myles Heskett and engineer Jon Boy Rock
- Stephen Rae is tracking some clarinet for 21st century classical (Engineer: Shane Fahey)
- Galaxy Fuzz Band are tracking more songs for their next album (Engineer: Shane Fahey)
- Ashleigh is laying down a folks single (Engineer: Chris Hancock)
- Mike Berkley has been mixing new IDM / Brain Dance music (Engineer: Chris Hancock)
- On The Stoop is tracking another album of left-field gypsy music (Engineer: Shane Fahey)
- Steve Balbi is working on some new musics
- Adriano Cappelletta is tracking drums (Engineer: Chris Hancock, Producer: Adrian Deutsch)
- Ungus Ungus Ungus are in for a 4 days of tracking for their next record (Engineer: Shane Fahey)

October @ Megaphon

October is shaping up to be another busy month @ Megaphon Studios.
- Ross Nobel is working on his album “Upright Man Vol. 3″ (Engineer: Shane Fahey; Producer: Darren Percival)
- Bridie King is recording new works with the legendary engineer Phil Punch
- Rand & Holland are in for a session to record strings for their forthcoming album (Engineer: Chris Hancock)
- George Palmer is also back in to record a trumpet sonata and edit previously recorded 16 piece ensemble recordings for the contemporary opera for Tim Winton’s best-seller “Cloudstreet” (Engineer: Shane Fahey)
- Lastly both Mar Haze and Ungus Ungus Ungus will be inhouse rehearsing new works for recordings in early November.

Dappled Cities have booked the studio for half of the month to record their new album (engineer Ned Cooke) -
George Palmer is back in recording contemporary Opera (engineer Shane Fahey) -
The Daily Meds are having beats mixed for their forthcoming album (engineer Chris Hancock) -
Engineer Tim Whitten is in recording singersongwriter Sophie -
Lastly in-house engineers Shane Fahey and Chris Hancock are both doing a bit of touring; Shane with gigs in Canberra, Melbourne and Newcastle as part of Scattered Order, Chris with gigs in Canberra and Brisbane under his beat alias Monk Fly

May @ Megaphon Studios

May’s activities down @ Megaphon Studios have been varied and busy.

We started the month recording a new album for French vocalist Sylvie Boisel (engineer Shane Fahey).
Following Sylvie, Megaphon had David Symes in to produce the Ten Artists Project, celebrating the life and music of Jesse Younan, featuring a host of Sydney and Melbourne’s best vocalists and players, including J.Walker (Machine Translations), Emily Lubitz (Tinpan Orange), Lucie Thorne, Chris Abrahams, Stu Hunter & Hamish Stuart (engineer Shane Fahey).
The Winter People have also been in the studio to track some grand piano and guitar parts for their forthcoming album (engineer Chris Hancock).
This Filthy Seed came in mid May to mix some songs for their latest record (engineer Shane Fahey).
Country artist Cody Dillon has been in to mix the first half of his debut album (engineer Chris Hancock).
North Lakes High School have also been through Megaphon as part of the Kool Skools 2011 program (engineer Chris Hancock)
In between sessions in-house engineer Chris Hancock has been also been mixing new beats from his alter ego Monk Fly.

To finish of the month we have Jon Boy Rock in for four days tracking the second half of Small Town Incident‘s new record and in-house head engineer Shane Fahey mixing Lucie Thorne‘s 6th album tracked at Megaphon in April.

has been tracking her 6th album (Engineer: Shane Fahey), contemporary country artist Cody Dillon has been tracking drums for his debut album (Engineer: Chris Hancock) , Jonny Faith has been in mixing his new beats for Civil Music (UK) (Assistant Engineer: Chris Hancock), Adrian Whitehead from Melbourne has been tracking his new album of introspective pop with Whitlam’s guitarist Jak Housden (Engineer: Shane Fahey), The Fuji Collective have been tracking their new prog funk album (Engineer: Shane Fahey) and Scattered Order, Roleo and Jensen Brewster have been in for mastering with engineer Chris Hancock. Still to come in April we have Rand & Holland in to track their forthcoming album (Engineer: Chris Townsend), Rhyece O’neil producing The Drifting (Engineer: Chris Hancock) and Shane Fahey mixing Lucie Thorne & The Fuji Collective‘s tracked albums.

A Fun & Busy March

Thus far March has seen some super session going on at Megaphon Studios.

At the beginning of March we had Lah-Lah in for a 3 days session; engineer Brent Clark.
Following that we had rockers This Filthy Seed in for a couple days; engineer Shane Fahey.
Rack & Ruin came in March 12-13 to bang out a new album; engineer Jorden Brebach.
March 14-16, Grand Fatal were in-house to work on a new material; engineer Jon Boy Rock.
March 17, folk diva Ashleigh Mannix was in session; engineer Tim Whitten.
Between the cracks in house engineer Shane Fahey has been recording new works by Romano Crivici,
whilst younger in house engineer Chris Hancock has been recording St Leonards.

… and March hasn’t even finished… currently in session are Koritni, engineer Daniel Leffler.
