Melbourne’s Black Level Embassy tracked their next record with Jon Boy Rock.
Composer Hilda Fairley recorded her new works for piano and cello with engineer Shane Fahey.
Canberra’s jazz pianist wiz kid Luke Sweeting cut his debut record with engineer Richie B.
Billygoat and the Mongrels finished some more tracking for their record with engineer Cat Coleman.
Sydney folk outfit The Conversations recorded their debut with engineer Chris Hancock and producer Dave Symes.
South American troupe Surkuy recorded their next record with engineer Chris Hancock and producer Richard Austin.

January was mostly booked out by Noiseworks with Steve Balbi tracking vocals and guitars for their forthcoming album. Around that we also managed to squeeze in tracking for a great new gypsy / jazz record for the Klezmer Divas.

A super busy month as everyone tries to finish off their records before the end of the year:

- Galaxy Fuzz Band are tracking more songs for their next album (Engineer: Shane Fahey)
- Ashleigh is laying down a folks single (Engineer: Chris Hancock)
- Mike Berkley has been mixing new IDM / Brain Dance music (Engineer: Chris Hancock)
- On The Stoop is tracking another album of left-field gypsy music (Engineer: Shane Fahey)

October is shaping up to be another busy month @ Megaphon Studios.
- Ross Nobel is working on his album “Upright Man Vol. 3″ (Engineer: Shane Fahey; Producer: Darren Percival)
- Bridie King is recording new works with the legendary engineer Phil Punch
- Rand & Holland are in for a session to record strings for their forthcoming album (Engineer: Chris Hancock)
- George Palmer is also back in to record a trumpet sonata and edit previously recorded 16 piece ensemble recordings for the contemporary opera for Tim Winton’s best-seller “Cloudstreet” (Engineer: Shane Fahey)
- Lastly both Mar Haze and Ungus Ungus Ungus will be inhouse rehearsing new works for recordings in early November.

Lastly in-house engineers Shane Fahey and Chris Hancock are both doing a bit of touring; Shane with gigs in Canberra, Melbourne and Newcastle as part of Scattered Order, Chris with gigs in Canberra and Brisbane under his beat alias Monk Fly

May’s activities down @ Megaphon Studios have been varied and busy.
We started the month recording a new album for French vocalist Sylvie Boisel (engineer Shane Fahey).
Following Sylvie, Megaphon had David Symes in to produce the Ten Artists Project, celebrating the life and music of Jesse Younan, featuring a host of Sydney and Melbourne’s best vocalists and players, including J.Walker (Machine Translations), Emily Lubitz (Tinpan Orange), Lucie Thorne, Chris Abrahams, Stu Hunter & Hamish Stuart (engineer Shane Fahey).
The Winter People have also been in the studio to track some grand piano and guitar parts for their forthcoming album (engineer Chris Hancock).
This Filthy Seed came in mid May to mix some songs for their latest record (engineer Shane Fahey).
Country artist Cody Dillon has been in to mix the first half of his debut album (engineer Chris Hancock).
North Lakes High School have also been through Megaphon as part of the Kool Skools 2011 program (engineer Chris Hancock)
In between sessions in-house engineer Chris Hancock has been also been mixing new beats from his alter ego Monk Fly.
To finish of the month we have Jon Boy Rock in for four days tracking the second half of Small Town Incident‘s new record and in-house head engineer Shane Fahey mixing Lucie Thorne‘s 6th album tracked at Megaphon in April.
